VISIT TO OKINAWA 2018
[22nd AUG. ~ 12th SEP.] & [15th SEP. ~ 5. OCT.]
Instructor of the OKIKUKAI SANCHIN DOJO from Belgrade, Dimitrieski Milan, sojourned at the headquarters of the OKINAVA KARATEDO ASSOCIATION (OKIKUAKI) in Okinawa, from 22 August to 12 September 2018.
Also, in the OKINAWA KARATE-DO ASSOCIATION (OKIKUKAI) headquarters in Okinawa were sojourned OKIKUKAI SERBIA HOMBU DOJO Head Instructor, Popović Vladimir, member of the Dojo, Zakić Tajana, as well as and Palumbo Gaetano, Instructor of the Okikukai Dojo from Milan, Italy.
All of them had an intensive training program in various dojo of the OKIKUKAI association.
During their stay in Okinawa, Dimitrieski Milan was passed the test for rank KYOSHI 7 DAN (at Sept. 9th), and Popovic Vladimir was passed the test for rank KYOSHI 8 DAN (at Sept. 30, 2018).

"Upgrade in Okinawa"
"SIDE BY SIDE WITH THE LEGENDS"
"The karate instructors Popovic Vladimir and Dimitrieski Milan, both masters in the traditional martial art UECHI-RYU OKINAWA KARATE-DO, resided in Okinawa Island in Japan during September and October.
Attending the karate seminar and DAN examination for master degree was the main reason, and improving sport-friendly relations between Serbia and Japan.
Popovic and Dimitrieski were attending trainings at the greatest UECHI-RYU masters: Higa Toshio (Hanshi 10 Dan), Yonamine Kosuke (Hanshi 10 Dan), Tobaru Keichou (Hanshi 9 Dan), Okuhama Shinmatsu (Hanshi 9 Dan), Arakaki Takashi (Kyoshi 8 Dan) and Yonamine Masunori (Kyoshi 8 Dan).
Popovic and Dimitrieski have successfully passed the exam for master degree in front of the official Committee of the OKINAWA KARATE-DO ASSOCIATION of Japan, headed by the President, Tobaru Keicho. Popovic Vladimir acquired Kyoshi 8 Dan and Dimitrieski Milan got Kyoshi 7 Dan.
The above mentioned degrees make Serbia a country with the most master degrees in this Karate style in Europe. Therefore, Serbia retains a very high position in the world of KARATE-DO."
